In December 2020, EBARA Corporation acquired another company, which will become part of the group. Located in Izmir City, Turkey, the company is the Turkish market leader in the manufacture and sale of motorized pumps for deep wells and vertical pumps root, with about 576 employees.

According to its medium-term management plan, “E-Plan 2022,” the EBARA Group (“EBARA”) aims, with the acquisition of the company Çiğli Su Teknolojileri A.Ş, to operate in promising regions abroad, in countries with growing population and developing industries, thus becoming able to increase its global supply chain, strengthening access to markets in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa in order to further expand its business.

The company Çiğli Su Teknolojileri A.Ş, has two subsidiaries, Vansan Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş and Vansan Makina Montaj ve Pazarlama A.Ş, both were also acquired along the deal.
